Conditions of Sale

Your order with Proud Parent is very important to us. Most of our customers elect to personalize their keepsakes, hence making them one of a kind. Once your order is placed with Proud Parent, it cannot be canceled or altered after 12 hours, as all orders go into production within 12 hours of receipt. Should you wish to cancel or alter your order, you must send an e-mail to customerservice@proudparent.biz within 12 hours of your original order time. Proud Parent will acknowledge your cancellation or alteration request by e-mail. No cancellations or alterations will be honored without the request being made and the acknowledgment being sent.

As a policy, we look to ship your order within 5-9 business days. All orders will be shipped via UPS Ground unless you select expedited service. With the customary shipping times for ground service being 4-5 days, you should receive your keepsake(s) 10-14 business days from your order date. Shorter times can be expected for expedited service.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Proud Parent keepsake. If not completely satisfied, you may return your keepsake to us, within 30 days of your order date, by: (1) e-mailing customerservice@proudparent.biz that you wish to return it; (2) receiving a return authorization from Proud Parent; (3) shipping the product(s) back to Proud Parent; (4) receiving a credit from Proud Parent for the full amount (less a $15 restocking charge for engraved items).

Your keepsakes are manufactured in the United States from the finest .925 sterling silver or from fine 14k gold. Sterling silver ones are available in both antiqued or polished finishes. Antiqued means that they have been further processed to give a worn silver look that brings out the fine details in the design. Your memento shoes and boots are crafted to be durable with a high metal content. Approximate weights of our babyshoe keepsakes are: 6.9 grams, 4.5 grams and 1.8 grams, respectively, for both the antiqued and polished sterling silver mementos in the ¾” (large), 5/8” (medium), and 3/8” (mini) sizes, respectively. Similar weights in the 14k gold babyshoe keepsakes are: 9.1 grams, 5.7 grams, and 2.3 grams, respectively, for the ¾”, 5/8” and 3/8” sizes. For the military boot the weights are 9.5 grams and 12.1 grams, respectively, for the antiqued or polished silver keepsakes and the 14k gold keepsakes, respectively.
